Haven’t seen this succulent display. May be its new, or may be I should go out more. Anyway, lovely morning, pleasant walk, good company.

Day of walking and climbing

Thistle, rocks, children

Not so long ago...

Good dish in the restaurant gets my imagination going and my creative juices flowing. Perfect meal out is the one I want to replicate at home. Here is the example. Steamed snapper with ginger, scallions and soy sauce.  Had to use the oven with a bowl of boiling water instead of a proper steamer and snapper instead of barramundi.  It works.

“Weekend” feeling… It is not natural any more. I have to tame my worries and cares. Long walk helps. Day in the park is even better.

Horse Ride in the Bush

Actually it was more like a horse walk. Not enough skill to make the beast move quick enough. But I almost managed to keep up with the group and came back in one piece. Can’t ask any more from someone riding for the second time! Looks like sleeping passion starting to stir  up deep inside. Can a “city mouse”  have such a hobby? Dream on, answers the rational part of me.
