Once in a while l do a crazy things
I’m not a skilful quilt maker. Maybe a scrap quilt from time to time, just to get rid of offcuts, but nothing too precise or time consuming. Once upon a time my son wanted a dinosaur quilt. Why not to do a hand quilting, said I. Just to try my hand in something new. Mums do some crazy things for their babies.
With all its imperfections I’m happy I could finish it. It took me a year… And yes, I would change the whole composition, if I to do it again. I learned a great deal – good thing about leaving the comfort zone .
A wonderful butterfly quilt nestle in my head since then. If only I had more time and space …
